Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada range; the length
is 22 miles, maximum width is 12 miles and shore length is 71 miles. Lake
Tahoe is just on the state boulder of California and Nevada, 140 air miles
north east of San Francisco and 25 air miles south west of Reno.
It was known as the recreation aria from exploitation age. In 1960, the
name was circulated all over the world as the Winter Olympics was held
in Squaw Valley of the north part of the lake.
Tahoe is a major tourist resort in United States. People can enjoy skiing,
cycling, hiking, swimming and diving, pleasure every season. Many sailboats
float on the surface of a lake which reflected Californian blue sky. The
snow mountain ranges over the opposite shore can be seen clearly from the
peak surrounding the lake.
Lake Tahoe is the most attractive lake in United States which the dry climate
and clear air direct.
